I feel like FX is the Iron Man network sometimes. Even before the ramp up to Iron Man 3, I feel like I have been watching Iron Man for nearly two years on FX.

AMC catches it for Forrest Gump and Shawkshank of course.

I'm not sure I have ever watched a movie on FX. They have the best TV series on BC though, IMO.

I remember back in the day when they used to show In Living Color re-runs.

AMC plays Shawshank on repeat because they sold the rights for so cheap before it became a popular film so AMC pays almost nothing for it.

Shawshank cannot be played too many times.

TNT used to show Shawshank a lot back when AMC only showed movies from the 1950s.

It's gotta be AMC, especially during the holidays when they will play the same movie 4-5 times a night

Ah, now you're reminding me of the good old days, when TNT would show The American President 4 or 5 times a week.

I used to wonder, who is demanding this film be shown over and over?

I remember that as well. TNT and TBS were also notorious for showing 80s movies like Back to the Future, Top Gun, and anything produced by John Hughs.

And no commercials!

If AMC didn't have their own great programing I would say it was better back then. It rivaled TCM & PBS as a cheap commercial-free network.
