What do you season eggplant with?

I bought and eggplant today and am wondering how to season it. I plan on slicing it and throwing it on the grill with some steaks, but not qite sure about the seasoning that's good with it.

I like to marinate in 1 part lemon juice, 3 parts olive oil. Throw some salt, pepper, and red pepper on before you cook.
