A week or so back, I posted a Chicken Tetrazzini recipe.

Chicken Tetrazzini

In that post I said that the dish freezes well and reheats nicely.

Last night we had leftovers:

I defrosted the pack in the microwave, popped it into a casserole and heated it a few minutes at full power until it was nice and hot.

To complete our leftovers meal, the wife took some french cut greenbeans, added slivers of onion, chicken broth, carrots, mushrooms and cooked themm on the stove for a while. Then she made a nice salad. Romaine lettuce, radishes, carrots, pomegranate seeds and raspberry walnut vinaigrette

Not bad for leftovers.

Anyone else on F&DB eat leftovers?

Or just us?

The only leftovers that i eat are coonass dishes that i cook. Gumbo, sauce piquante, rice and gravy etc. oh, and spaghetti.

That looks just as good as it did last week!

I tried your recipe last week and everyone loved it. Your recipe is definitely a keeper. Thanks for sharing. BTW, what kind of orchid is that on your table? I'm curious because I grow orchids. I narrowed my orchid hobby to growing just one type.

most important question ... who crochet'd that pot holder

The wife (MHNBPF) She is something of a local Crochet and knitting expert. Honestly, she has a knitting emergency room and sometimes gets calls in the middle of the night. She once got a call for help while we were on vacation. She has the ability to troubleshoot and make verbal corrections over the phone (sometimes). I can't do a chain stitch.

I do know Knit One, Pearl two, emerald three, diamond four - or something like that. Or maybe it's one potato, two potato, three potato four.

At the moment, she is seated across the den doing counted cross stitch.

what kind of orchid

I don't know - I could be a wise-arse and say Piggly Wiggly, but I won't. Wife says it is a Genus - Phalaenopsis the species eludes her. Also known as a Moth Orchid - according to the wife.

This is the greenhouse that belongs to a friend of my wife's (a fellow Garden Club Lady).

And her prized baby

I love flowers and gardening, but not much about orchids. I think the big purple orchid is a big deal orchid. You probably know the name, but I don't. I do know that it is knock-down impressive.
