I've discovered that I find watching a certain Youtube uploader's (Quill18) Let's Play series of that game more fun than actually playing it.

I gained a ton of respect for him for his stuff. Man I tried recording my playthrough and it is so frustrating trying to make interesting conversation with yourself while playing a strategy game where one stupid mental lapse can ruin you for decades.
