I know everyone has seen this boat if you travel on hwy 90 at all. Its been there forever and I was wondering if anyone knew who owns it or how it got there. is it for sale ? anyone want to go in it with me and build a fricking badass yacht?

I think the builder realized it was too top heavy and didn't have the funds to correct it. Then was going to convert it to a restaurant or something but never did.

That was the story I heard.

Man was building it and then was murdered by his son if I remember correctly. Vanacour was the family name I believe. Has sat there since his death. It was going to be a "badass yacht".

Son did not commit suicide. Killed his father and then rode his bike home like nothing happened if I recall.

There was a sign on it that said something like no suggestions needed and not for sale or something like at one point. Dont know if that was before or after the man was killed

Why he kill him???? Should've at least waited until the boat was finished to make his escape.

Vanacor family. The dad had a corvette parts store on 90 as well. A family friend has a 58 corvette he had frame off restored and he said that Vanacors Corvette Parts was THE place to go for hard to find parts.
