re: More Duck Dynasty politics

quote:

I like me some Duck Dynasty but they are #1 in their time slot due to over regulation of the entertainment industry....they enjoy that lofty position because regs won't allow networks to air shows that people would watch. If they were competing against full blow porn with the only regulation in place being the remote control they would have a very tiny segment of viewers.....

I musta say. This is quite possibly thea stupidest thing i have ever read.

Ever.

.of course you wouldn't have the talk radio indoctrination that has been the in place (intentionally) since the early 80's so billionaires could drive a wedge between folks and profit from the ensuing hilarity....

You probably actually believe that drivel.

So you have nothing to add you just feel the need to respond when you read something that makes you squirm bit? Good show...typical of the closed minded right...

Again i do not 'believe' in much of anything, I know the things that I post about. This is a perfect example. If it were not for the state deciding who and what could be on the radio there isn't a snow balls chance in hell that talk radio would have the market share it enjoys today. Radio and TV are two of the most regulated industries in the United States and the right, who is all about regulation, would have you "believe" that they right winged talk radio is no allowed to compete in a free market because there is no "fairness doctrine" any longer, when in fact there is no fair market for radio and TV because the state dictates who and what can be seen and heard on both. Of course very few of you "small government republicans" will ever admit this is true because it does not fit in with your world view.

You have a way with words. Where did you study classics? I'd wager... Williams? Swarthmore? I'm thinking a Top 14 law degree, bare minimum.

Whoa, where did you come from and how have I missed you?

Hey guys, come look! We got another one!

Please stick around and play. Share your opinions on EVERYTHING. We can't wait to interact more.

This is going to be fun.

Have you met Rex, VOR, and awant yet? You might be offended by their Right-Wing sensibilities, though.
