Top half of the 1st round...

Lions -Mathew Stafford... solid QB lots to like.
Rams - Jason Smith.. an average starter... Bust for a 2.
Cheifs - Tyson Jackson... not his fault he was over drafted, but again, a bust for a 3
Seahawks - Aaron Curry.. YIKES
Jets - The Sanchize... UGH
Cinci - Andre Smith... not bad, but not living up to the hype
Oakland - Darius Heyward Bey... Al's final senile moments
Jacksonville - Eugene Monroe, solid starter, good pick
Packers - BJ Raji... beast, great pick
SF - Michael Crabtree... potential is still there but he hasn't put it together yet 4 season in
Buffalo - Aaron Maybin... whoops!
Denver - Knowshon Moreno... not sure anyone imagined just how far he'd drop off
Redskins - Orakpo... showed flashes of greatness and a Pro Bowl, but can't stay healthy at all
Saints - Malcolm Jenkins... not too bad for a 14th overall pick
Houston - Brian Cushing... was awesome, exposed as a cheat, presumably clean and still played great, coming off a major knee injury.

Some good players and some busts....not the best but I imagine there are some worse than that.

Would agree pre 2012, but he really put it together last year.

Remember he is on a team that runs more than any other and Veron Davis takes alot of targets away.

2012 - 85 catches, over 1,100 yards, 9 tds.

Good point, I guess its easy to overlook him with all of the other tools on that team.

it is bad for the 14th overall pick, just not as bad majority of the picks before him

Don't worry, what they did last night will make everyone forget all about Maybin.

absolutely.

That, J.P. Losman and John McCargo (a DT from NcSt rated as a third-rounder that Buffalo traded up for to pick in the first round)

Oh boy did Andre's career end at Alabama and start in the NFL as a complete failure

He's since made the absolute most out of it though. Of he keeps it up he'll be a top RT for years. The exact opposite of a bust...although his bra size would disagree

:lowblow:

I really expected Jason Smith and Aaron Curry to be much better players than they ended up being.

Aaron Curry was an absolute beast in college - his fall is puzzling to me. Seemed like a can't-miss LB.
