Make it happen, Loomis.

The Steelers or 49ers dont like these two prospects, therefore the Saints shouldnt.

Jesse Williams, Johnathan Hankins, Alex Okafor, and Corey Lemonier may be available as well.

With the lack of interest the Sainst showed for the NT position in FA's I think they like what they have. BPA I think rules the rest of the draft except for the center position. I really think they will look hard. I like the kid from Notre Dame in the 6 or 7th.
Would love to have Collins in B&G.

Charlie Campbell from Walter's Football has us taking Collins in the 3rd.

ETA: He doesn't have Williams going in the 2nd or 3rd.

75. New Orleans Saints: Jamie Collins, OLB, Southern Miss
The Saints could use some pass-rushing help and Collins is a good scheme fit.
The fast and physical Collins was a consistent producer for Southern Miss. The senior recorded 92 tackles with 10 sacks, 20 tackles for a loss, five passes batted and four forced fumbles this season. He totaled 98 tackles, 19.5 tackles for a loss, 6.5 sacks, eight passes broken up, one forced fumble and one interception in 2011.
Collins (6-3, 250) is an interesting prospect who could be a 3-4 outside linebacker as well as a 4-3 linebacker. An injury knocked him out of the Senior Bowl, but he looked great at the Combine.

Why would we take Jamie Collins when we just passed up Jones? We don't need to solidify our LBs remember?
I'm all or Brandon Williams. Hopefully Jesse Williams falls somehow

Walter himself has us taking Jesse Williams in the 3rd, and he doesn't have Brandon Williams going in the 2nd or 3rd either.

Just an FYI, he has Collins going to the Jags at #64.

People just can't grasp that Ryan doesn't use space eaters at the nose and has two guys who are exactly what he looks for already.

I'm good with Williams
Brandon Williams, DT – Missouri Southern
Broad-shouldered and bulked up, especially in his upper body. Possesses the upper-body strength to shove opponents into the backfield and disrupt plays before they even have a chance to begin. Has enough short area quickness to slice through gaps. Possesses longer arms (32 3/4) than expected given his stout frame, which he uses well to keep offensive linemen off of him. Surprisingly light feet and balance to move laterally through the trash and shows enough phone-booth quickness to close.

Maybe b/c they have more than 1 pick and have several areas to upgrade? Are you really that stupid?

I'm being pretty heavily sarcastic.
I think we could have gotten much better value from OLB in the first and a S later.

We are due for a great draft. Fingers crossed.

Didn't someone say the Saints were really high on Jamie Collins? Perhaps he is who they want at the OLB spot.

Or they liked what the draft had to offer in the later rounds?
Both the Williams, Montori Hughes, Kwame Gaethers(sp.), Cory Grissom.

He actually produced on the field more than Mingo, Ansah, and Jordan. He also outperformed them at the Combine.
If he hadn't been injured during the Senior Bowl and was able to show his skills in front of scouts he may have gone in the 1st, just like Ansah.

Hankins and Jenkis are still out there as well.
