Loomis does not have a good history with UGA players in the 1st round.

Charles Grant, not a bust had a decent career but definitively didn't live up to first round hype.
Johnathan "hot cakes" Sullivan.
Bust.
With that kind of sour taste oin Loomis's mouth from past UGA players and Jarvis Jones' poor skills performance I can see why we shied away from Jones.

And do you think Mickey Loomis is a better GM than the Steelers' GM?

How much say do some of these fricking morons think Loomis has in talent evaluation? Jesus.

If Loomis is letting the school a prospect from 10 years ago attended effect his decision then he should be fired tonight

That was 10 years ago.
I'm 100% sure that when Loomis evaluated the Jarvis Jones pick the said to himself, "this has the potential to be another Johnathan Sullivan situation".

Tell us how much.
Wouldn't he and Sean be the final decision makers (based on their scouting department's evaluation)?

I'd almost guarantee you that the final decision is that of Payton and the coaching staff. You think Loomis is sitting around breaking down film? He's a numbers guy. That's why he's here.
