honestly, i would never use the blade tech holster.

but if shite hit the fan, it would be nice to have the 2 mag holder... i would just buy a drop leg holster, just dont know which one

I have a bladetech for both my Beretta and 1911. It's a great holster if you're going walk in the woods for a bit. It never hurts to have a paddle holster.

what pisses me off is the little vagina slit in the top foam on Smith cases. I like it to be uniform all around. I will order a Pelican case for my 1911 for that very reason

to tell you the truth, i wont be walking around with this thing, it will be sitting in my night stand, and going to the range every now and then, but if shite hits the fan, it will be with me at all times

Been in LE for 18 years. I can say that of those 18 years I have carried some great 1911's for about 14 of those years. We have a firearms officer that got me hooked on them because of the trigger making less than great shooters at least decent shooters. However, I have taken a 1911 down to the frame to clean and the newer "plastic" guns. There is a ton of shite that can gone wrong with a gun that has as many parts as the 1911. Not saying it doesn't happen with plastic guns but I can tell you from personal experience and attending many hours of training that most of the problems that happen on the line happen with the 1911. Think of a part and I can think of a problem. Except maybe for the......nevermind. I have seen alot of problems with them. I still carry a micro Springfield 1911 off duty but I now carry a HK P30 on duty. And that firearms instructor that carried one for almost all of his 19 years and in combat. Well he now carries a glock. Just FYI. Yeah I know.
