I would say AD's least funny episode is as funny as Parks' funniest.

first season has to be at top. second season near. significant drop-off for third. hopefully fourth will be back at top.

I agree, just restarted it with my girlfriend for her first time. Both are great but I think the second is the best and the third isn't as bad as I remembered

Season 2 >>>> Season 1

i don't dare argue taste within AD seasons, except that i definitely can't see putting 3 at the top.

i like the way the plot thickens in 2, and the story is more complex in 2. but I found myself laughing more constantly in 1.

i am rewatching all three in prep for 4. it could be too that GF is watching for first time (which is odd given she had minor part w/ bateman in a crappy movie) and seeing her crack up at her first experience with the show made me laugh harder.

i would say your >>>> seems a bit hyperbolic though.

c'mon!

Curb
AD
IASIP (early seasons)

Larry David absolutely kills me.
AD for obvious reasons.
The first couple seasons of IASIP are just outstanding comedy TV.

I'm at the end of sea. 2 of AD. Not quite as funny as I was hoping. It's not the greatest sitcom of all time like so many people told me. My one complaint is that every episode is just one giant coincidence. Like "o no that was gobs seal that bit busters hand off" or "o no that was pop pop that was in the ford escape that lucille was yelling at" and "o no the cops were watching her house bc they are gay and she's carrying their baby!" That's all in one episode, and each episode is the same way.

The George Michael/Ann relationship is hilarious.

Thats the whole point of the show, everything connects in a crazy way. Seriously almost everything connects, just keep watching

Its the GOAT

It gets overrated on this board but it is extremely good. Just not better than the likes of Seinfeld, the office, or Always Sunny.
