Looks to be by far the greatest Iron Man film yet.

horrible plot. HORRIBLE. As soon as he got out of the desert, it was a downward spiral. you knew jeff bridges was the bad guy from the moment he was on screen

I think people got this when they seen the trailer or even saw the poster.

I am happy about this, but some of the positive ("fresh") reviews ain't that great.

first was my favorite non childhood superhero movie. Enjoyed it significantly more than the batman trilogy.

Completely agree. Before he got out of the desert, I was really digging the movie.... then the plot started.

I have no previous experience with Iron Man lore so I had no idea. I understood it just fine. The plot left much to be desired, and everything else about the movie was very average

I will say out of all the Marvel film franchises, Iron Man is the best first film to any of them.

exactly. bojengles here thinks I didn't understand the plot. hard to misinterpret a plot that a 3rd grader could have written

Not really saying that much. Thor was pretty much identical to Iron Man in every way. You start off with a big "what the frick" moment when our hero lands in the desert during the climax of his life. Then we go back in time and see our main character as a balla and not giving a shite. Then everything he knows is taken from him and gets to regular "Earth" life. Then both movies go to hell.
