I'm interested in what it was like when they were still making music. Someone fill me in.

Mr Hall is the eptitome of blue eyed soul. I'm looking forward to seeing them at Jazz Fest. If you get a chance check out his tv show, Live From Daryll's House

I'm very upset about missing them at jazzfest. How popular we're they in their prime? Cab I get a comparison to another band?

Here's an interesting fact; Michael Jackson pretty much copied the bass line from Hall & Oates - I Can't Go For That for Billie Jean.

They were incredibly popular in their prime. They were right up there with Billy Joel as rulers of the radio. They had six #1 hits which is a lot.

Hall also wrote Every Time You Go Away which was a #1 hit for Paul Young. Hall and Oates recorded it too but it wasn't released as a single.

Saw them recently. Incredable musicianship, great song selection, really short show. I felt cheated.

I heard "I Can't Go for That" for the first time yesterday morning by chance. Sooo smooooth.

No exaggeration, I listened to it probably 15-20 times yesterday driving around. Sometimes I get real addicted to a song like that.
