Hard to say. I do think Upchurch will need to show up at camp this summer and show he's big time. I wouldn't write him off just yet.

Says he's a little short to play guard or tackle plus being short and stubby helps against 3-4 nose tackles that are built like tree stumps.

what's his height?

I actually agree with him about Malachi. This kid hasn't even fully developed physically yet. I have super high expectations for him.

you would hope. LSU certainly doesnt need 5 WRs in this class. Too many talented targets in all other positions to take 5!!

If the 5th guy is Williams, he's a take 1000000%

I've seen it listed as 6'4 and 6'3.5.

He is a shorter than the prototypical tackle, but plenty tall enough to play guard.

I know a lot of people have said we will likely only take four receivers. I honestly think we take five. The three home state guys, along with Blacknall and Upchurch. First reason being, I can see Beckham,Landry, and Leslie, leaving after this year with decent production(despite possibly not going first round). As seniors we have Boone and Wright. That would be a productive five gone right there. Second reason is you don't turn away a 6'3 200 pound talent with speed like Blacknall, and Upchurch is talented as well. They may take five, they may not, but I could definately see it for those reasons.

What about Voorhies? He is listed on 247 as Athlete and Safety, but I thought he was a WR.

I know this topic is Germans, but I really don't see why we wouldn't pursue Cameron Sims harder for the 4th WR in the class.

Blacknall will be the second WR, and then our 3 instate guys. If you mean 4th in state if quille decides to go somewhere else (which is unlikely) I think we will push for sims ONLY if he camps this summer

I have a feeling Quinn Dupre and Blacknall commit before next season and thats 4 wr commits with Upchurch. And then we will just have to wait and see with Noil, isnt he deciding at the UA game?

The WR class will look like this by NSD imo:
Noil
Quinn
Dupre
Blacknall
D'haquille Williams
