Coming to a theater near you

quote:

An independent film company has made a documentary on former Arkansas quarterback Mitch Mustain. Once a highly rated recruit and later the starter in Fayetteville, he ended up transferring to USC and losing out to Matt Barkley. What happened? The trailer doesn't really say, but presumably the film will.

It's narrated by Nolan Richardson, who has a great narrator's voice as it turns out. He could use a little coaching on his pacing, but if he could get that, he could easily have a second career doing voice over work.

I love the first comment

quote:

He played on a team with maybe the best backfield in the history of football. Run DMC, Felix Jones, and Peyton Hillis. And they had a good defense. And the SECW was a bit down.

If I remember correctly, his mother pitched a fit that he wasn’t throwing the ball enough. Yes, his mother called Arkansas’ coaches and told them to start throwing the ball more, even though they leaned on the above mentioned running game. After the season, he left Arkansas like a spoiled child, and lost out to a better QB at USC. Had he gone to another school, he probably would have become the starter, and might have shed his spoiled brat image. Alas, we shall never know.
