A few days ago Amazon released pilots for originals shows that they'll decide to greenlight or not based on subscriber feedback. LINK
If you have Amazon Prime it's probably worth checking out, there's a trailer for each one.

I watched Alpha House Sunday morning and thought it was funny and well made. I would watch more.

Yeah I talked about this a little while back. They actually have them up now? I saw the previews for Alpha House and one more, but when I went to look for them on Prime, they were not to be seen. Pretty excited about Alpha House. John Goodman is usually money.

I watched Zombieland. The premise and opening was great, but outside of that, the casting is horrible. They could not have found a more un-Woody Harrelson actor playing Tallahassee, which wouldn't be an issue if it weren't for the fact that the other actors are basically doing characterizations of the rest of the cast from the movie. Damn too, because this sets up so well for a series.

Yeah, lots of news outlets were pimping it on Friday. It's kind or hard to find on the PS3 app there's a category for Amazon Originals under TV Shows.
I thought most of the trailers were underwhelming. I watched Betas and it was just ok. Think The Social Network if it was turned into a weekly dramedy. To be fair I could see some of the intended humor playing better to a younger audience than me (late 30s). I also watched Those Who Can't which is about some loser teachers and thought it was pretty good. I'm not sure I'd watch further episodes of Betas but I would check out more Those Who Can't.
