Pretty shitty in this day in age, every baseball game can't be on TV.

Why the f*ck does CST give me this bullshite? Tennessee vs Ole Miss? Wha?

Sorry for bitching. I just think in this major media presence age we live in, people would watch it. Advertisers would reach people. I don't know how it works, but if I have 500 channels and they can't get me a major local/regional sporting event, something's screwy.

Common sense should tell you that if was money to be made, it would happen. College baseball isn't popular.

I've got directv and live an hour from campus and have only seen one game this season. I can't even buy the telecasts.

You read my mind. Why can't we have all games, football, baseball, and basketball and the spring game on TV, not just GeauxZone. LSU shoud have a Sports Media school, classes, and a degree in it to teach recruits and students the business while showing fans the games. We would all pay fees for it and sell advertising too. All could be a degree with such classes, including advertising sales training. Geaux TigerTV.

I understand it's not the super bowl or anything. I'm the first guy who will make the point that college baseball is miniscule in the big picture. But if it would get ratings regionally, compared to the terrible other baseball games they offer me, it just seems ghetto. I'm just beginning to think Cox is like the cheapest network or provider or whatever. When Benson bought the Hornets, the first thing he did was get Fox in the market to cover them. Why can't LSU pull that card?

Granted I went to the game, but The Toothfairy network carried it up here. My bud said it the it looked like watching netflix in dial up.

I thought I read or heard that it makes more money than women's basketball, they are on TV much more often though. Maybe what I heard was wrong.

Yep, and this is the reason NCAA Baseball has such low ratings. It's almost impossible to see your team play even with a geaux zone type package. .

Great idea, and it would pay for the program as it went along. Start simple and grow it.

I agree. I was a bit shocked.

I am not surprised when Southern isn't on (or when LSU plays Southern or other smaller schools), however all SEC v SEC games should be on, in this day in age.

With that said, there were a few other SEC v SEC games on today, FWIW

But Southern is on, they are playing Grambling right now on CST. Delgado was on earlier today, as well as A&M, Ole Miss, West Virginia. I don't understand why it isn't on in south LA.

And the cable and satellite companies are wondering why they are hemorrhaging revenue from the people "cutting the cord."

When you can't get what you want on your paid subscription, you turn to the free stuff on the internet. These guys are missing the boat.
