Let's revisit the old thread without all the clutter.

I need one. What's the best out there.
Who has what and how do you like them..

I think King Ranch had input.

I have a Liberty Fat Boy Jr that I got from the John Deere dealer in my area. It is made in the USA, and stamped with a JD logo on the door. I paid $1440 with tax. It is supposed to be a 48 gun safe, but with scopes there would be no way to fit 48 guns. I am using half of it for gun storage and the other half for documents, jewelry, etc. I have been very happy with mine.
I believe KR has a Liberty Lincoln 50. Liberty makes a very good safe.
One problem you may have is finding a safe. Liberty stopped taking orders online due to high demand.
If I had known how hard it would be to get in the house, I would have paid for delivery. 700 lbs is no joke!

I have a cannon 24 gun safe and it works great for me.

I'm about to run out of room though.

when they give a "number" for guns..
How many of those are for rifles/shotguns?

All of them.

You can configure your safe to different layouts. The number is usually the layout that holds the most long guns.

Whatever you get, just mount it correctly.
Drill the slab and anchor away.

I have the Cannon 36 gun safe from Tractor Supply and I think it is a pretty good safe. May not have the fire rating of some of the other more expensive ones but, it does what I need it to.

The # of guns is supposed to be long guns without scopes.
As stated, mounting is important. Anchor to slab!

Another little piece of advice:

Whatever the number of guns you think you need a safe for, double it. You can thank me later. Having g said that, my next house will have poured concrete walls and I will just buy a vault door. Walking into YOUR safe is the tits.
