Churrasco

º Made an inordinate amount of ´everything but the kitchen sink´ Chimichurri
º Flank and Hangar steaks have a bit of kosher sea salt and are sitting on the cutting board
º Campo Viejo 2006 Reserva Rioja (Tempranillo, of course), locked and loaded
º Bought some f'ed up Latin American tuber which is like a damned soccer ball, have no idea what to do with it. It seems like a rock hard sweet potato.
º Alaskan King Crab (frozen, of course), will probably form part of one of yálls Mirliton récipes.

Enjoy your evening, all.

We´re all not clear on this Mirliton thing. I think these are too young. They´ve actually sprouted whilst in the fruit bowl.

Also, the pit is slightly more consistent than the flesh, and is not much darker.

The flesh is pretty milky white.

Bean soup which consists of black beans, cannelli beans, red lentil, black eyed peas, pinto beans (bought a bag of mixed beans at Mexican supermarcado) over quiona. May throw some tempeh in there. Roasted brussels sprouts and eggplant discs.
