Backham and Landry went OOOFFFFFF, love the passing game today. Rivers is the #2 in my opinion.

Gotta love rivers shaking off the haters to have a monster game. He looked real good with the ones.

Of course they were playing the super scrub team but. whatever.

Miles wouldn't say if Jennings has passed Rivers for the #2 spot at QB. #LSU.

He had 6 tackles. Kwon has 11 and started a few games before getting hurt. He would have had way more.

That's his freshman year. Two years ago was 2011, he had 27 tackles and was arguably the most consistent LB next to Minter.

I thought Rivers looked extremely impressive. He made some really nice throws including a few with some really nice touch to get them over defenders. Looks like he should be number 2. Both Jennings and Rettig looked like they had lots of talent, but both made some freshmen mistakes. They'll have a very competitive qb battle in the next few years

Miles answered a reporters phone during his postgame presser. Said the guy on the other end was drunk. "The Hat" is priceless. #LSU

Yeah, both Rivers and Jennings looked good but the fact is Rivers ran with the ones this year and put points on the board. Jennings looked good but goose-egged the scoreboard.

Hill should have put any doubts to rest today as to who is #1 tailback... Wish we could have seen Blue but I agree with coaches - no since getting him dinged up in SP.

Mett was Mett. Same old song. He made some beautiful throws. Usually three feet in front of his receivers. Maybe I'm being too hard on him, or hyper-critical. I'll accept that. But Mett just is kind of -meh-at theend of the day.

Rivers was ridiculously on- point. I was actually kind of shocked at how good he looked. He threw with authority, hit all the spots and most importantly, sustained drives.

Jennings is a BIG TIME keeper. This kid is going to be good. Pretty much everything we thought, but maybe a little better footwork than I expected. His footwork was GREAT. His pocket awareness was better than average, for a freshman, but nothing special, imho.Really, really, tight spirals and great arm strength.

Rettig won't see the field for a while.
Kragthorpe looks like a serviceable "program" guy.
