10) Cam Newton
9) Marcus Allen
8) Earl Campbell
7) Tim Tebow
6) Tony Dorsett
5) Charles Woodson
4) Paul Hornung
3) OJ Simpson
2) Roger Staubach
1) Barry Sanders
Just got done watching this on NFL Network. Thoughts on the list by the More Sports Board? Is there anyone that was left out that should've been included? Should someone be higher, lower, etc...?
Personally, I can't, for the life of me, figure out why they decided to put Tim Tebow at #7 (must have been to boost ratings for Tim Tebow lovers).
Eddie George, Bo Jackson, Carson Palmer, Doug Flutie, Jim Plunkett, Tim Brown, and Herschel Walker are notables left off the list. Obviously there are more not mentioned above.

what was the criteria? Surely not NFL success.

Tebow's inclusion on this list has to be a joke or a serious troll job.

Eddie George & Tim brown should replace Tebow & Newton

College and NFL success.
I don't even think Cam Newton should be on the list, yet. They made this one after his Rookie season and before Tim Tebow went to the Jets.

Undeserved. Neither should be in Top 20.
And easily replaced by

Tim Brown, and Herschel Walker
edit: I'm assuming this is the "best" Heisman winners that played in the NFL.

Charles Woodson was definitely deserving of a spot on the list.

What is the criteria? If just a Top 10 Heisman winner that played in NFL, then hell no. He is among the least deserving winners.

The list was put together based on college and NFL success. The top 10 players that found success in both.

Pretty sure this top ten was made in 2011 right after Tebows playoff win, so that explains his spot

Woodson gets the benefit of the doubt because he was great in the league, but as a Heisman winner he's a sham.

Then Cam and Tebow are most undeserving. Both in that list is laughable.

Should be #1
NCAA-
Won a National Championship, 1st RB to go over 2,000 yards in a season, led the nation in scoring, & won the Heisman.
Pro-
Roy, MVP, SuperBowl MVP, Comeback POY, 144 Tds, HOF

If it was "professional football" instead of just "nfl", Herschel would be top 4 or 5.
Posted on 4/19/13 at 8:21 pm to TTsTowel
where's Tim Brown on that list?

Are you fricking kidding me?

Yeah, Allen should be higher. Damn Al Davis for basically sitting him on the bench for 3 years during his prime because of personal issues.
Hard to argue with OJ being so high.

Wait, no RIcky Williams?
Ya know, he did manage 10,000 yards while being a complete head case
