So, let's say a "Texastown" area (like Chinatown) were opened within Chicago. Texas laws were in place and populate it with Texans.
I wonder what the Texastown crime rate would be compared to the rest of Chicago? Or would there just be a heap of bodies.

A fellow I went to high school with was shot dead trying to rob a drug store while a retired, and armed, DPS trooper was inside the store.

Bet it would've been an unhappy ending for the victim had his buddy not been there to help him out....
