Kind of like Tim Williams from last year. Not everybody in LA wants to go to LSU or stay in state.

You should find a different example to use. This one does not work.

You did nothing to help LSU's case at all. Two offensive linemen under Miles listed and one was a converted DL. Whitworth was a Saban player and Livings was as well with only 1 year under Miles. For an OL guy, Miles hasn't produced NFL OL.

There are other boards that would better fit you than this one.

This is truth. Also, please remember although Cam Robinson has seen LSU countless times over the past 3-4 years, he still visited LSU twice in a few week span as well earlier in the Spring. Bama just hired Cristobal and I'm sure he wants to know his OL coach, whether Stud or Cristobal, before making his decision. The System acts like every OL goes Round 1 at Bama. Tyler Love and many others didn't fair so well. The NFL angle is just 1 factor and LSU had a top 15 OT in Chris Faulk prior to knee injury and another potential Round 1 pick in Laell Collins this year. These kids also have to think of life after football.

Andre Smith (A Shula player btw) is the only OL from Alabama to go in the first round since 2008. That hardly counts as a procession.

Cam Cameron solves this problem.

Also, Faulk was a top 15 pick prior to injury. LSU still has more players in the NFL than Bama and Cam Cameron has developed some of the best OL talent the game has to offer. If LSU's offense gets rolling this year then I expect Laell Collins to be a high pick. Plus, a very small percentage of recruits get drafted high or even get a 2nd contract. Hopefully, Cam is being educated on life after football.

He may have been a Shula player, but his moobs were Saban players.

"Steady procession"? You mean, one?. . . In Saban's five years at Bama, only one Bama O-lineman (James Carpenter) has been taken in the first round. Two total, in all rounds combined.

Nice try, though.

ETA: Carpenter's the one I'm referring to.

James Carpenter went 1st round two years ago.

DJ Fluker is supposed to go first round this year.

And even he was an absolute reach at that spot. Even Saban was shocked on that one.

By the time Robinson enrolls, will have been Smith, Carpenter, Warmack, Fluker, Koundjio, all 1st round.

So yes, as I said, a steady procession.

after seeing faulk yesterday, I think he made a huge mistake not coming back.

I stand corrected. So 2 OL in the first round in the last 5 drafts, one of which was a Shula player.

Wormack is a virtual lock. Fluker is borderline 1st

Warmack is pretty much a lock. Fluker possible. Koundjio no way to tell.

Imagine that. Fluker and Koundijio the top tackles in the country in high school coming out.
La'el was the #2 coming out. We shall see where he goes. Faulk was top 10 or 5.

Most of our other guys weren't that highly rated (elite) or were defensive crossovers. We had a ton of attrition from 07

Gump gonna gump.
