For the MMO players, what do you do on patch days

Atlantica Online just screwed up a major patch and we are in a patch to fix the patch that fixed the patch mode right now. I know dumb arse people that used to use vacation days on xpac/patch releases only to not get to play. Personally I have been on the OT and that is a scary thing.

Well, considering battle.net goes down for both Diablo 3 and WoW until about 1:00 pst, I'm usually doing other things. I remember a time though when server resets and roll backs would f' me over for days(I'm looking at you BC and Vanilla).

It's a Korean game that I can't believe more devs haven't pulled from, long distance partying for exp, banks that pay interest, and a map based on the world with themes from that region. There is soo much that is out of the norm for MMOs in this game.

I remember way back when I used to play Tibia and would be annoyed every night when the game would go down for ten minutes at 2 in the morning for maintenance. The game might have a major patch/maintenance once every six months. I didn't realize how good I had it until I switched over to WoW.

WoW had nothing on EQ, those days were hell, roll backs could cost you days of leveling.

When I was really young (18-21 era) MMOs were a big part of my gaming experience but patches didn't bother me. I hated Server Maintenance much more.
The MMOs I played was City of Heroes and Lineage I & II. IDK why I cant get into any MMOs again because it is my favorite genre.

Roll backs usually make me quit a game if it doesn't benefit me.

I play WoW now for the PvP and doing random shite with the friends, but that's about it.

At the moment, Chrono Trigger. Pure, amazing nostalgia. Probably will do Chrono Cross next, even though it's inferior. Then possibly my billionth playthrough of Xenogears.
So I guess my answer is old games I love.

I'm not an MMO player, but try playing a non-MMO game?

Mow the grass, get some sun and try to make enough money in one day to play the rest of the week?
