I would bet that the quote is inaccurate as to his true feelings. After all, it is a quote. NOne of us were there, so take it for what it's worth.

I disagree. This isn't about competing. This is about someone telling him he wasn't offered.

The horns do this to recruits all the time when recruits think they have been offered and then all their pay sites backtrack on it because somehow it's important to them how many offers they make. Who gives a frick how many as long as you get the kids you want.

You may want Brandon Harris. Burning this bridge now makes little sense imo. Tell him he has an offer and get him on campus. Then worry about whether you want him.

I get that he wants to give a lot of attention to the schools that have legit offers out, but to say that he doesn't want to go to LSU and earn an offer, is very immature and probably says a lot about his character. He's not entitled to anything.

this is what I'm talking about really. You want to call it a "camp offer" because it matters to you. What matters to him is that he's "offered." Quit splitting hairs and just call it an offer and he's happy. That's all you have to do and it's why camp offers exist to begin with. It's merely perception but that matters a lot in situations like these.

Honestly if thats how the kid feels, let him go. LSU will live with out him. And frankly I don't want a kid that gives off a poor attitude. He should be looking at these summer camps as an opportunity to show off his abilities. Regardless if he is offered or not camp will only better him, there really isn't anything lose by going.

I just tend to look at everything said. I am willing to bet this was taken out of context or we don't know everything going on. I am not going to write a recruit off until after signing day.

I read the whole article and I'm pretty sure he meant unless they planned on offering once he showed who ever his skills! The article sounded a bit diff. Like if LSU or who ever doesn't plan to offer him at camp then he has no interest!

It's possible, but if a kid prefaces a statement by saying "not to sound arrogant" it's pretty much a guarantee that something ill-advised is about to come out of his mouth.

I don't think it's fair to judge a person's (let alone a kids) character based upon an article that gives us a small glimpse into his opinion.

I say let it play out. I wasn't there, don't know him, and won't judge a "quote" used to sell subs.

No never said that he didn't plan to come!! Actually said the opposite, and it didn't sound arrogant at all. Sounded reasonable to me!! It pretty much said if a school has no REAL interest and doesn't plan to offer a scholarship, then he doesn't want to waste his time at camp. But he said he does plan to show the coaches his skills and also said they plan to check him out as well, at his school so y'all need to chill with yall girlish ways. Hey dudes confident and we have missed on some really good talent in state, oh and we have a pretty good evaluator of QBs now so take a seat son lol

I didn't get to read article. Didn't understand the outrage if he didn't say specifically that he wasn't going to LSU. If he has a camp offer, seems like he'd still be a go to come.

We cannot do this with in-state kids. It doesnt work that way with LSU and LA recruits
