Mel Kiper essentially invented the NFL Draft beat. He's been successful beyond his wildest dreams with it. Maybe he has the disease of more, but I think he's probably pretty happy with how things have worked out.

His story is a good one and I have a lot of respect for him, but we all have the disease of more. Id do the exact same thing, but that doesn't mean I'm going to take his reports on guys like clauses or Teo seriously

Id rather have a guy like Kiper around to lay out a guys strengths/weaknesses and give me atleast an idea of where he will go in the draft than what they were like back in the day with just a big list of names and youd have no clue who any of these people were

Regardless of the date, it's sad that so many people who don't know shite about football bitch about their team's draft pick because Mel Freaking Kiper didn't like the pick.
