Very interesting story from an armed civilian.

True story

EDIT: What is crazy to me is that it seems when you get a rush of adrenaline that you remember every single detail. The details this guy talks about are amazingly small.

And he also makes a good point that there is no record of this incident because no shots were fired.

Wow, that story brought back my experience to the forefront. I had a similar incident. I don't know if the BG was armed , I never saw his hands as he had them shoved down in an army jacket. But an event that took only a few seconds seemed to me to be in slow motion at the time. I analyzed that I couldn't see his hands and he had an army jacket on in August. My mind analyzed everything as it happened and what my next move was going to be. I'm not saying every encounter would be like that but mine was.
I knew that if he took one more step I was going to shoot him because not seeing what was in his hands was sending off a red alarm to me. Another was that when I pointed my .357 at him and cocked it he didn't flinch a bit and actually got agitated when I did it. I thought wow this guy isn't scared a bit even with a gun pointed at him.
If that would happen now, my employer would fire me as we have a no guns on property policy, even in a parking lot. But I'd rather be alive with no job than dead and employed.

Twang's story makes the hair stand on my neck and my CC license can't get here soon enough.

I can't stand how potential liability outweighs the potential for your employees to get robbed or killed. That's what's wrong with society now.

But regardless, glad you made it out alive. A 357 to the face would definitely make me think of doing something else. The front of a revolver is just so intimidating when you're staring 6 of these guys in the face:

Yep, at the big decision time I told him if he took a step I was going to shoot him ( I thought to myself 6 times and he wouldn't be testifying at my trial). He went back the way he came and that was the end of it. Cops came took everything down and said " Ok that'll do it. Thanks." I was like

Yep. Unrecorded stuff. This is why liberals love saying guns don't save lives - because most of the time shots aren't fired.

Solid video

He did the right thing by not pulling the trigger, saved himself a lot of grief.
