Did not see this coming.. Even if UNC does get Wiggins, this hurts their title chances badly

One of UNC's starters ..on a team that people had pegged as a title contender for next year. You know, like in the 50 threads about next basketball season that were on here recently?

Never heard of him, then clicking the link and seeing likely second rounder, is probably why.

Well that and UNC was terrible for 90% of the year.

JMM is probably the only person who should even consider coming out and I still don't think hes ready yet.

Dumb move, IMO. My dad (big UNC fan) was not happy.

He's projected as a borderline 1st round pick according to that article but I agree he's making a big mistake

He's not ready, but the thinking amongst many borderline 1st/2nd rd prospects is that this draft sucks so I'm gonna enter

Dude has game, I watched a lot of UNC this year, but another year would have helped him a lot. According to the s/o he just had a kid, though, so I'm sure he wants to get paid.

What would staying another year and entering a stronger draft do for him? He had a solid season, has great size and a good jump shot, which is becoming more rare. I think he'll climb up draft boards like KCP out of UGA.

Not a good decision, but hey, the draft is full of them every year.

Uh oh. One more UNC player to declare and Wiggins might be off to UNC.

This isn't possible. He was one of two go to players on UNC's team.

Wiggins would be the perfect addition to this team

I thought I heard that he was in some academic trouble. I wouldn't be shocked if he left to avoid those issues.
