Main Card (Fox)
Benson Henderson (c) vs. Gilbert Melendez
Frank Mir vs. Daniel Cormier
Nate Diaz vs. Josh Thomson
Matt Brown vs. Jordan Mein

Preliminary Card (FX)
Chad Mendes vs. Darren Elkins
Francis Carmont vs. Lorenz Larkin
Ramsey Nijem vs. Myles Jury
Joseph Benavidez vs. Darren Uyenoyama
Tim Means vs. Jorge Masvidal

Preliminary Card (Facebook)
T.J. Dillashaw vs. Hugo Viana
Anthony Njokuani vs. Roger Bowling
Clifford Starks vs. Yoel Romero

It's gonna be hard to top last week's card, but this one has potential. It usually sucks when fighters get scratched due to injury, but it worked out for this event (no Guida or Hardy).
Next weekend is 159

The lw champion vs Melendez has been one of my dream fights for years (whether it was Penn, Edgar, or now Henderson).
And Mir sure is talking a lot of crap about Cormier...has he not learned from the Lesnar and Carwin fights?

Eta: nvm, I now see you posted in that thread. DC is going to hurt Mir badly and Mir is going to turtle up and quit

Pulling for Gil, but I don't think anyone can beat Benson right now.

Great card. I am pumped for Cormier's UFC debut. I am interested in seeing if all the ex-SF continue their success in the UFC.

Melendez has a style that easily transitions to the UFC. His mix of wrestling and Boxing and his toughness make him a bad match up for anyone.

Anyone remembers the Benson vs. Jim Miller fight a couple years back? I don't remember it (Ben won a unanimous decision), but that's an interesting match-up. Miller, Pettis, that Russian Sambo guy, & Melendez are who I want to see challenge Benson in the immediate future.

Yeah, Aldo as well once he moves up. His fight against Pettis is gonna be huge, and have major repercussions for both weight classes. There are other guys as well who I am interested in seeing how things work out (ie: TJ Grant if he beats Maynard) & some of these Bellator guys (Chandler & Curran)

I cannot remember but Aldo at one point wanted an immediate LW title shot if he beat Pettis. If he got that, he'll get Bendo soon enough. I don't think Pettis wins that fight as much as I like him.

Aldo jumping up to WW?? GSP would smother him

And I really think Pettis beats Aldo, then immediately fights the LW titleholder (hopefully Bendo). Pettis is gonna have a huge year

I can't wait.....that's a "super fight" imo

I'm just praying we don't have a Louisville type of broken shin from how hard and often both those guys kick. Can you imagine both of their shins colliding together

i don't think hardy is cleared to fight due to a heart condition.

i think he and the ufc are trying to get a doctor's second opinion.
