Spinoff thread: Change one thing about any major sport

Reading the NBA shorter season thread made me wonder what universal ideas the MSB had on how to alter and improve any major sport.
For starters, I don't think any NFL team with a losing record should be going to the playoffs while a better team stays at home.
I also think the aggregate system in soccer is total bullshite.

NFL- Fire Goddell,agree about records.
NBA - More consistent refreeing,Reduce season by 10 games.
MLB - Reduce season to around 130-140 games

yea, but no matter what the figurehead is (goodell or someone else), the NFL will still continue to ruin the sport as we know it. It coincides with the pussification of society.

NFL: repeal most rule changes since 2000 that were done in the name of "player safety", fire Roger Goodell, no more "Tuck Rule", no more "Brady Rule".
MLB: shorten the regular season to 80 games, running from April through August with playoffs played in September.
NBA: Shorten season to 40-50 games, cut number of playoff teams to 12, all playoff series shortened to best of 3.

There are plenty of other reason to shite can Goodell, his over reaction to the Saints pay for play program is probably 9th on the list.
