This is why no one should ever buy from Cheaper Than Dirt again...

That box of ammo was $10 per Sandy Hook. When it comes in stock at places like SG, Cabelas, and Midway, it is $15 now. Cheaper than shite wants $70. LOL

A buddy of mine just bought a 500 brick of 22LR at Bass Pro this weekend for $23. Cheaperthandirt wants $160 for the same thing. Screw them.

LuckyGunner is another shite hole. They always have stuff in stock b/c their prices are about 300% above market for most things

Honestly, they are really just doing the same thing that you/I did in the past few months....
They are getting as much as people are willing to pay for it. That is what you were doing, right? You are not forcing anybody to buy your "flipped" ammo. If someone offered you 40 bucks for 20 bucks worth of ammo and another 4 other guys offered 100 bucks for that same ammo....I am pretty sure that you would sell it for 100 bucks or more, right?
Dont get me wrong...I have expressed my hate for CTD on this site before....but when you boil it down. They are only selling at a price that people are willing to pay for it. PERIOD...they arent forcing people to pay any price that they are not willing to. And they are obviously in tune with what their stock is selling for and adjusting prices accordingly.
I will probably get tons of shite for saying this but....
I hate whats going on there...but in all honesty I understand it.
As far as your comments on LuckyGunner...you serious bro? I scored major crap from them that they shipped out within 24 hours at prices that I was able to at least double if not triple my money...unless something has changed there in the last month or so since I got out of it?

I don't have a reputation and customers to keep me in business which is the main purpose of this thread.
Eta: haven't seen a good deal on lucky gunner in about 3 months. I've only seen everyone on ar15.com complain about their ridiculous prices since december

He doesn't! He embraces it. Part of capitalism is consumers recommending/word of mouth. And if your product is good at a reasonable price, then you will get business by consumer recommendations. Contrarily, you will get lose business when you try to take advantage and raise prices on unknowing customers. (and calling yourself "Cheaper than Dirt" at the same time)
Those prices are ridiculous and they deserve whatever bad press they get because of it....and this isn't their first stunt!
