Just finished season 1 of Breaking Bad

Just knew the premise to the show. I know nothing about what happens next. Does it get better? Liked season 1 but figure it's just setting Walt up to be a badass in the future where I assume he just won't give a frick due to the terminal nature of his cancer.

My favorite series that's on TV. Sad to see it coming to an end this season, but it's going to be a shite storm of a season.

The sandwich scene before Walt's first murder is an amazing and important scene. There many other amazing scenes in season 1.

I've just finished espisode 3 of the 1st season. I've got to be honest, it hadn't lived up to my expectations thus far. After reading how everyone talks it up, I was expecting to get sucked in by now. I was sucked into Justified after the 1st episode. But I'll continue to watch BB since I can't imagine that everyone is wrong about it. When does it start picking up?

Toward the end of season 1 IMO. Season 2 is excellent. Season 3 and Season 4 are even better.

The show has to start off slow because part of the beauty of it is depicting the transformation of Walter White from beginning to end.

season 1 is baby shite compared to the rest of the series. its great seeing it mature into the one of the greatest shows ever

How someone can watch breaking bad's pilot and not be hooked is beyond me really
It's one of the best pilots for a show I've ever seen. Him talking into the camera to his family was incredibly acted and intense. I don't know, maybe it's just been too hyped up for you. I started watching when it first aired and thought it was amazing since episode 1

SO true. I enjoyed all seasons but the action/drama def gets more intense
