Tiger is 3 inches away from being tied for 1st right now

If we can put all of the bitching and groaning aside for a second, that 3rd shot on 15 on Friday will go down as one of the most unfortunate shots in the history of the Master's. 3 inches to the left or right and he likely taps in for a 4 and is sitting at -7 today.
Combined with his 400 degree horseshoe on 8 yesterday, it is pretty clear Tiger hasn't had much luck this week.

No point in dissecting if anymore.
It's over. And it's Masters Sunday.

He is 3 inches from still being married

Hopefully he has a freak injury on the back 9

So you think his Asian side is the dominant side?

The asterisk is fine. I'm just pointing out how horrendous that break was. I can't think of a more costly and divisive shot. If it misses the pin, there is no controversy and Tiger is in the lead.
If he manages to win today, the asterisk can be placed right next to this one, but when it mentions that many thought he should have been DQ'd, it should also mention that hitting the pin on an approach shot effectively cost him 4 strokes as well.
If Cabrera or Scott or Snedeker lose to him by a stroke, they will find no comfort in the fact that they were 3 inches away from losing by 5 strokes.

This is kind of why I think Tiger makes a run with a 66 or 67 today. He hasn't had much go his way this week despite playing pretty well (unless you count avoiding a DQ as fortunate
). I think he puts it together today.

maybe, won't be within 3 shots even if he does do this, he'll need a 65 or better to win this thing

Am I the only one that realizes that Tiger's 3rd shot on 15 would not have been a tap in birdie? At best, it would have been 10 feet away. Most likely, it would have been on the back fringe.

And he is a correct ruling from being DQed. WTF is your point

You're doing some funny math. He can win with a 65 but won't be within 3 shots with a 67?
