The masters are no longer bigger than the game or any player
All my golf friends praise integrity of calling own foul and why its better than other sports because of respect for game...welcome down to the rest of sports level golf fans.

Penalizing players for no reason. Totally agree

Green jacket, gold jacket, who gives a shite

bullshite penalty IMO. They are doing it to appease tiger haters. Masters should be above that.

Well good for the masters to completely split their audience on this issue.
It must be a good ruling if you have people on both sides of the issue completely blasting it

Agreed. The asian shouldn't have been penalized yesterday

They need to clear up shitty rules and this wouldn't even be in question

He should be DQ'd. He signed an improper score card. Bottom line.

Hyperbole-istic post bro

His drop was "near" the original spot

How can y'all not understand the two stroke penalty is correct? He unknowingly broke a rule, and the only way we know is because the tv replay showed the ball go into the water at a different angle.

He gained nothing and acted with all the right intentions, fricking dumb rule, I wish he would withdraw and tell the masters to suck it as he takes the ratings with him
Posted on 4/13/13 at 8:53 am to fightingtiger2335
No it doesn't they put a rule in place last year specifically so a situation like this doesn't cause a player to DQ. It's called the HD rule and your buddies don't use it bc their games aren't on TV...

Na. It does effect their image

You shouldn't be allowed to watch for not knowing the rules

God I hope he wins this now - golf sticklers nerds are going to get their panties all soiled.
