Have a few filets I was going to cook for dinner, looking for ideas...

I always like crispy edges to my fish, preparations I've liked we're called bronzed. Not sure if Grouper's right for that, like a puppy drum, or if I could pull it off even. I have a good broiler, getting some crisp under it may not be too difficult.

Suggestions?

Grouper = good.

1: Fish grilled Greek Style. Works with grouper too. I will drive up to BHM just to have this meal at one of The Fish Market restaurants.

2: Not what you were looking for, but you should: fry 'em up and make a fried grouper sandwich.

I'd go simple...salt , pepper, butter, lemon and either grill or broil.

Agree with Otis - keep it simple. Grouper is one of my all-time favorite fish. Enjoy.

That fried grouper sandwich at George's in Aly's Beach is insane.

If frying use either a beer batter, or a tempura batter on it.
