If it wasnt for Skip the players would still be painting the dugouts and cleaning the stands out after games on the old Alex Box Field. Skip is a first class guy, and a TRUE LSU man..

Yeah i'd much rather it be named after skip then one of the LSU sponsors like Gerry Lane Field.

Dislike! The scam Bertman was pulling with the baseball camp after he became AD, was not only sleazy it set LSU baseball back, because we ended up with Smoke instead of a better coach.
I thought it was state law that state facilities could not be named after living persons?
This was because we were spending too much $ removing the names after they went to prison.
