How does Mettenberger and the OL look at Spring Practice?

I haven't been able to keep up on it much. How does Mettenberger look at practice? Has he thrown many deep passes to see if his accuracy has improved from last year? Has he been put in any situations that might help him improve his pocket presence? Also, does the OL look like they might be able to give Mett more time to work the pocket?
I know last year he had problems with his WR's dropping alot of passes, but he did overthrow quit a bit. Also the OL was putting him in bad situations the end of the season. So alot of the sacks weren't on him, so much as it was just him not having any time to make a decision.

We will be lucky to win a game.

I know, we're never gonna win a game ever again. They are being coached by the cashier and stock guy from the local Walmart now cause everyone else quit.
Seriously, I just want to know if it looks like the OL has been able to gel together and how Mett has been looking.

Excuse the hell outta me for wanting to know how a few players looked in practice. I thought this was a board for LSU football, but it seems to be a board for smartasses.

At the outset of camp, Mettenberger struggled to adapt to Cameron's new scheme, but he has been improving of late. Rivers has been consistent. By all accounts, Jennings is naturally gifted and has proven to be diligent. He absorbed Cameron's playbook more quickly than many of his older teammates.

From the reports, videos, and scrimmages Mett is learning the offense quickly. He is getting rid of the ball quickly and showing good accuracy. Of course, he did the same thing last spring, so I guess time will tell.
The biggest issue on the OLine is piecing together where everyone will play. Early enrollee Pocic is really impressing the coaches with his play at center and could push for action next year. Collins is transitioning well to LT.
WRs are improved from last year. I'm sure they will have the occassional drop, but not nearly as much as last year. Jarvis Landry is emerging as the go-to target, Dural has really impressed coaches with his hands and speed.

Mett is frontrunner for Heisman and all of OL will be drafted in first round.
Win every game next year by at least 30.

Thanks for the info and a serious answer. It'll be interesting to see how well they take to the new scheme and if they can work together.

Don't give them too much credit. Have to be smart in order to be smartasses

It was funny to hear the board blow up that Mett wasn't all too excited and thrilled about learning a completely different scheme and playbook.
Leave it up to the rant

Its spring. Media gets very limited view. Qbs are in no contact. Some oline have been hurt. Collins is our LT.
Nothing really to take. Cam pulled no contact off the back uos but mett still gets to stand there without fear of being hit.
They are still learning.
