San Diego Padres
Milwaukee Brewers
LA Angels
Miami Marlins

I thought this was impossible? Aren't they supposed to be 0-9?

I understand that you guys just want to troll Astros fans on the board, but the Astros are NOT going to finish with the worst record in baseball this year.

I'm thinking about making a week or so ban bet on that.

Barring a 2-32 slide like last year, I feel pretty good about that.

Klark Kent still on suicide watch?

Out of those teams listed, only one of them will be even close to having as bad of a record as the Astros.

The Padres will be better than the Astros by the end of the season.

One guy can't carry that team.

If the Padres only have one guy, the Astros don't have any guys to carry them

At best, they're a draw.

Padres line up isn't that bad. I think they are a 70 win team. Plus they get headley and grandal back in just over a month

Oh come on man, you can't be serious. I know you are a Stros fan but don't be a homer. The Padres lineup is significantly stronger than the Astros lineup. Their pitching is also better, certainly more proven and more experience. The Padres will certainly finish well above the Stros in the win column.

*looking up Padres lineup*

I'm looking for someone other than Carlos Quentin that would be considered "significant."

Yeah, I don't see it. That Cameron Maybin is a beast batting a smooth .083. At least we have someone to compare Brett Wallace to in that lineup. I do know that Maybin is getting paid SIGNIFICANTLY more than Wallace. So there's a "significance."

I'll give you Headley too. Forgot about him. Saw him being on the DL.

So you're judging Cameron Maybin on his batting average through week one? Wow. Veneable, Headley, Quentin, Alonso and even Chris Denorfia are all certainly better hitters than the Astros counterparts.
