Anyone have a recipe for a slow cooker jambalaya?

We have a pot luck at work on Friday and none of the people here have ever had jamabalaya. I was going to make it at home tomorrow night and bring up cold to heat in microwave but if there is a slow cooker recipe that is decent I think it may work better than everyone crowding around our one microwave and will already be hot. I have never tried cooking a rice dish in a slow cooker so not sure if it will work.

if its their first time...I highly recommend cook in a cast iron pot. Slow cooker will not do it justice and you will not get that flavor like a cast iron can get you

There's a lot on the net, but I would never do it. Too easy in the black pot. I would be afraid it would be edible, but not anything like jambalaya.

Nope...not EB. I am probably going to go the cast iron route and let them heat it up.

I didn't respond to your query, but If I were cooking Jamba for an office meal, I would do cast iron as you decided and heat it up when lunchtime came around.
I have an old-old friend who was an actual Chinese Bandit. - A long time ago. He is sor'ta famous in Louisiana and I will allow him to remain unknown to F&DB.
