Anyone actually catch a fish on this?

Thought about this when I just saw a commercial for the mighty bite fishing lure.

I don't believe that shite for a second

eta: they're just rubber minnows and I'm sure they're fine, but I remember when I was little I asked my dad he could order me some from the infomercial, I thought they were the most amazing thing I'd ever seen

I've caught fish on Toledo on the helicopter, flying lure, and banjo minnow.

The banjo was the most legit as it was the precursor to the fluke...

I never used one, but if it was good enough for Jerry Clower then it had to be great.

There is a power plant cooling water lake near Houston called Gibbon's Creek that is (at least used to be) catch and release only. Some big bass in there, but they had seen every color plastic worm, crankbait and spinnerbait I had in my box. So, they were really tough to catch until a really diverse color or new lure came out, then we would race out there to be the first to throw it in front of them.

My boss's wife was an infomercial junkie and had bought him one of those assortments of helicopter lures for Christmas. He had them hidden in the bottom of his box to avoid embarrassment, but pulled them out one trip out there out of desperation, and we wore them out on them. He said he used them for the next several trips, and caught bass like crazy, eventually, they caught on to those too.

I have. My parents got me a Banjo Minnow set one Christmas and I used them. Worked pretty good in the ponds I was fishing back then. They were easy to lose though.

I caught a few on a chartreuse helicopter. No idea what happened to my kit. That was like 20 years ago.

No telling what you can catch on a helicopter lure when you tie it to your pocket fisherman
