Where does The Strangers rank in horror films the past decade?

Watching it with my roommate who's never seen it now. His girlfriend who's already seen it refused to watch it and went in his room. 
IMO, it's the best horror movie of the past 10 years. I know it's not everybody's cup of tea though,

seriously, though, it was pretty good, but mostly because hollywood cant make a horror movie for shite and never will. a good horror movie is like needle in haystack these days

It scared me more than any movie in my adult life. My wallet fell out of my shorts in the theater and I went back the next day to look. Went into the empty theater during the "because you were home" scene the next day looking for it. I got the hell out of there really quickly.

It didn't need gore, it didn't need tits. Just a couple in a secluded cabin with 3 crazy batshit teenagers who decided to terrorize them just "because they were home"
