RRA used to make very nice 1911s.

The polymer says coming soon. Looks interesting, a single stack polymer 1911.

This is not correct. They make a great product and I have used their lowers and LPKs on a few builds but they are far from the top.

I have never had one qualm about my Spikes, put many a round through her with no problem.

Despite their recent price increases, still one of the best rifles out there for the money.

Kimber made one a while back. Didn't work out too well for them. Haven't heard much good or bad from it, then it disappeared.

Ive owned 3 Kimbers and while they were nice. Their quality is not even close to 1911s of Rock River Arms.

Does not mean they are at the top. Many people can say the same about Olympic Arms and I would also say that they are not at the top.

I respect your opinion and there are lots of people that agree with you, however, very few experts would classify them as one of the best, regardless of price.

I think the Ruger SR pistol platform is extremely underrated. Maybe I'm biased since my carry gun is an SR9c, but the gun is just perfect. And for about $400-$475, it is an absolute bargain. I've convinced numerous people to buy them since they were on a budget, and none of them have had anything bad to say.

I will also add the stipulation of you removing the magazine disconnect safety. Luckily we live in a free state and don't need it.

The only gripe I have about it is the sights. They are rounded at the top and it's tough to know when they are leveled out when you're on target. But I ordered some Novaks for it so the issue will be remedied.

Just an opinion. A bad one at that.

Just trying to get a disagreement/discussion rolling. Mateba died off and Chiappa is having some problems but the technology is revolutionary and I'm convinced they will eventually catch on. The lack of recoil is amazing. If/when the Rhino 200DS is more reliable and cheaper it will sell like crazy. A .357 mag pocket gun with no recoil is awesome.

I was just baiting you. But good solid reply. I want to try one of the Chiappas but don't want to pay to experiment. I need to talk a friend into buying one.

Well, I wouldn't buy a Chiappa if I were you. My brother and dad have a few Mateba's and they love them; straight up gun porn. I have the Rhino 200DS and it's been great for me. The problem is that they remind me of Kel Tec; everyone says they suck but mine have been great. I think Chiappa had some problems in the beginning. The price really needs to come down too. That being said, my .357 mag shoots like a dream. The lack of recoil in the lower-barreled guns is something I don't think gun manufacturers can ignore forever. Once people find out what they're missing the technology will have to expand to a larger market.
