About 10-15% do. Most are mutually supportive of UL once UK is out of the picture like this year. What percentage do you think LSU fans hate Saban?

Its just a shame that Saint Saban did not have that same dominance when he was here. One season out five with less than three defeats. One top five finish in five tries. When he took over Bama they were in worse shape than we were when he took over here, and it was harder to recruit at Bama when he took over. He is a completely different coach post Dolphins. Comparing LSU Saban and Bama Saban is even a larger gap then comparing current Miles and Saban.

My old man was a Navy brat who moved around every few years as a kid, so they had no true hometown. My Grandad & Granny were born in Cow Creek, KY (poorest county in KY) and Hazard, KY and had season tickets on the floor at Rupp. My pop and his two brothers are huge UK basketball fans. I grew up watching them, but the emotional connection was never there for me (I only have room for 1 team).
They (all my relatives that love UK basketball) are like scorned lovers re: Petino. Same deal as LSU w/Saban...great college gig, wanted to try pros, failed at pros, came back to hated rival showing no love/connection to the previous school. People in Lexington were seething and after this win, I promise you they are seething again. No love for Petino. The difference is they don't want Petino back. Some lame tiger fans still sob about Satan at night. My gradad was 87 and still cursing Petino as an arrogant SOB etc. etc. UK fans generally hate Louisville...
Side note-my pop's first cousin that had the UK tickets in his name died suddenly. My old man tried to prove that he had been paying for them for the last 5 years by sending all his check stubs in to UK, etc. They reviewed and sent a letter saying he could keep them if he donated $90,000 to athletic fund (payable over 10 yrs)....pretty steep when he only went to 2 games a year. After 60 years or so...tickets gone. LSU isn't the only school raking it in.
