Two horrible starts already. Should I go ahead and drop him now before he gets me more negative points?

What were you expecting when you drafted him? If you expected ace, then you will probably be disappointed. If you drafted him as a solid 3rd or 4th pitcher then just give him time.

Who would you pick up?

I wasn't expecting Ace. I was expecting average. He's in double digit negative points right now.

Not sure who I would pick up. Thinking Andy Pettitte right now.

Good question, and one I'm faced with as well. I'd like to hear a few other opinions too. Personally, I think I'm going to give him one more start to see if he can get it together. Like you said he's put up negative numbers in both starts so far. If he struggles again I guess I'll cut him loose, if he seems to get back on track some I guess I'll keep him around a little longer.

I don't know if I'd drop him, but he's certainly not the same guy anymore.

I wouldn't have drafted him to begin with. If you have the bench spots just roster him and wait it out. Don't start him.

He seems to be trying to strike guys out too much. I think its possible for him to adjust but he's lost A LOT of velocity.

I hate dropping a guy that I know for sure someone else will pick up and possibly reap the benefits from in the future

Halladay did strike out a bunch of braves so he was doing something right, regardless of how much they K

agreed, if you have the bench spots you might as well hold on to him as long as its not too much of a hindrance. His value isn't gonna get any lower.

Yeah, pretty much the best play here.

He's looked really good the last 2 starts especially. Glad to see it.

It's over. The Doc is done...the opportunity to sell was after his last 2-3 starts. Going to be tough to get any value now.

Soooo as if it wasn't obvious already at this point, I'd say it's time to drop

The injury is a good thing. Now, I can't be tricked into starting him anymore.

It is still amazing how quickly he fell off. He was arguably the best pitcher in 2011, below average and injury riddled last year, and just completely fell off the map.

I am starting to hope he just retires now. It sucks to see him struggle so badly.

Just put on 15 Day DL. PHI called up Joe Savery (name still haunts me) to add to the bullpen. Who will take his rotation spot? Pettibone?
