In all seriousness, this is a good signing. Low risk, high reward type guy. If all else fails, at least we'll have one guy on the team who knows the defense.

Great signing. He's scrappy and has a great work ethic. Really high motor guy.

Well every signing can't be blockbusters.
Allow me to speculate though: missing out on Nnamdi and Porter may have led the team to put Jenkins back at corner so they needed depth at FS. IAQ and Leonhard are your FS's.

quote:You bumped your head. He was Denver's "safety valve" punt return man last season. Meaning, go out there, catch the ball, and don't do anything stupid. We put him in the game during critical punt return catch situations where we couldn't afford a muff. I really don't see his role in New Orleans, but I didn't last year with Denver either. I guess he's good in the locker room and as a leader.
Good return man too

I would guess he has great.....um.... "fundamentals"

I actually think Malcolm could do a pretty decent job of covering TEs in this system. If our pass rush is even decent I think we're absolutely fine on back end. And by fine I mean middle of the road/good enough.
