Valid point. Can we blame the players?

Bc if the owners could save money on player salaries they would just pass that savings on to the customer?

More likely they just pocket those dollars.

Detroit's attendance is doing well. A lot of it truly is the product you put on the field, however, to let prices for Detroit are very fair. I got front row, outfield tickets for $24.00 a piece last year. Compared to Cincinnati, the same tickets there were roughly $48.00. Simple supply and demand.

The team sucks arse and is literally the worst team in the history of the MLB.

If Houston wins 54 games they will have overachieved. They are in a rebuilding mode.

I could've named more than a dozen cities that have illustrated very poor attendance so far.... New Orleans isn't one of them though.

Where I live, yes. Baseball is almost a dead sport here. (northern georgia)

BULL.shite.

I grew up in N. GA near Chattanooga and baseball is very much alive there. If you're counting between Rome and ATL as N. GA, then you'd be dead wrong there too. GA is one of the states that is a hotbed for baseball talent and competition.

It's also been an abnormally cold April in many areas of the country. It was in the high 30s Thursday in Atlanta.

It's also April, when kids are in school during the week.

This. Half the games this past week were day games. Hell, the cubs played one or two that started before noon.

You're from Atlanta

Where a scoreboard tells you when to "chop" and where Samuel L Jackson tells you when to "rise up"

Some fans out there I tell ya

What does New Orleans' mlb team scoreboard tell you to do, and when to do it?

Oh because New Orleans doesn't have a MLB team. That's clever.
