thinking he can't develop into a great nfl player... before he even plays a down? is ridiculous.

I agree. And i never said anything like that. I don't think he'll be a rookie sensation though. And I dont want to draft him.

Mingo with the right coaching and utilization has the ability to produce like a star in the league.

He doesn't have any highlights showing an impressive move past an oline man or an impressive jump off the snap beating an oline man.

There were more people voicing their opinions of him, which turned into criticism which was viewed as hatred... yeah something like that

Nobody's highlight films are J. Clowneyesque. Some people on here hate Mingo and nothing you say will change their mind. He's too small (No, he's actually the same weight as Jordan except two inches shorter) He doesn't have enough production (No, he's got as much production as everyone except Jones and Werjner and WAY MORE than Ansah) He can't cover people (Well he played DE with some great players, he didn't need to cover anyone and neither did Ansah or Werjner).

I wish they would man up and say I don't like Mingo and I'm too stubborn to admit that I have no real rational reason for not liking him.

there is 0 reasons to like dion jordan and dislike Mingo.

Ansah at least weights 20 more pounds, but has his owns question marks.

The reason is, he went to LSU.

Some people on this board only want to draft LSU players; some want to draft none ever.

See that's a much better highlight video than the first one posted.

Yes the dude is an athlete, yes he is talented, but he does have some glaring weaknesses. I didn't stay anything different than the second half of that video did in my earlier posts.

In Mingo's weaknesses part of the video, 3 or 4 times he was double teamed, twice held, and the other times were just good blocks or the play was on the other side of the field. Did not understand why they showed that. He is a risk but if he lives up to his potential, he will dominate the game for years at OLB position. Jones is just a pass rusher that the Saints really need but I am ok with Mingo too!

Its an LSU website and people bring up LSU players ALOT. Too much. I'll be the first to say that I thought Devery was a reach in the second round, but he proved me wrong. I didn't think Tyson Jackson was going to be a great NFL player. But when guys like Patrick Peterson or Kelvin Sheppard are out there, you should acknowledge that they are very good players. IMHO

I think risk out weigh the reward with Mingo, but if Jones isn't there and we take Mingo I will be happy.
