Corey Brewer is an asset to a contender as a guy off of the bench. He's 27 and definitely isn't getting any better.
I think it would a mistake for a team like the Hornets to add him regardless of the cost. It would be like a James Posey-lite signing. He would do nothing for us. Id rather AFA or another cheaper SF with potential to improve.

But you're missing his point. Outside of Shaq, all the guys signed as FA were role players and not big money guys.
