both losses that year were unexcusable, IMO. Hester was hurt against Kentucky. He rushed teh ball 18 times? Flynn had the worst game of his career against Arkansas. He had a shoulder injury and couldn't hit a 5 yard slant. He throws 47 passes that day???

We got the ball on our 44, 50, and Arkansas' 25 yard line prior to Arkansas even getting first down in that game. We ended up with 6 points. Arkansas goes on a 97 yard TD drive to take the lead and it was a shoot out from that point on.

I couldn't believe that our defense made Arkansas go 3 and out FOUR times to start that game (not including the McFadden fumble that we recovered), and we were only winning 6-0.

My biggest Les Miles mystery? What took you so freakin' long to hire a real offensive coordinator? And, can you please back the frick up and let the guy do his job? You would probably have 2-3 NCs if you had a top 50-75 offense every year.

Benching Scott vs. UK in 07. Still boggles me
Here are Scott's carries that game:
1. 55 yards.
2. 1 yard TD.
3. 5 yards.
4. 17 yards.
5. 13 yard TD.
6. 2 yards (only carry of 2nd half at about the 3:55 minute mark of the 3rd quarter)
7. 1 yard rush in OT.

On a side note, I'm so glad that we have the Chief instead of Bo Pelini.

has to be Miles not playing JL in BCS championship game

I understood that part and also benching him against Bama on the 11/5/11 game. He didn't want to throw in the towel and just give up in those games. But why didn't he work JL in more after the 11/5 game. Let him try to clear his head a little and work his way out of that 'deer in the headlights' syndrome. That will always be a Les Miles mystery to me.

One mystery solved. A lot of fans were wondering why he didn't put Mett in at the end of the 2011 season and especially against Bama in the NC game. This past season showed why that wouldn't have been a good idea.

There's not a single coach in the history of the game that doesn't have wtf moments. Sme coaches have as many or more a year then miles, but are excused because his name is Mack brown or some shite.

JJ vs JL: Why the favoritism? The best the offense has ever flowed during the Les era was in 2011 when BOTH QBs played. The stretch of games leading up to 11/5 where Lee played between the 20's and JJ was in the red zone was absolute money.

I love Les as our coach and wish him success at LSU for many years. However, I along with some previous posters don’t think I’ll ever understand why J Lee didn’t get at least a series or two in the national championship game. I suspect JL must have been in Les’ dog house.

How he hasn't gotten even one QB he recruited to be at least an average d-1 player.

1/9/12. Lack of prep, obvious lack of motivation and an apparent lack of desire to win the game. Truly truly mind boggling. It will take a loooong time for him to live that one down unless he wins another NC. We may never see another season like 2011 in our life times. It was all right there for the taking and to lay down like a rug in that game was inexplicably frustrating, and I guess you could call it mysterious since it was so incredibly weird and unexpected.

Mett was a step up from the JJ/JL dog shite but still wasn't all that good. Lee was ok his senior year. I guess he was "average". I'm about ready for the QB play we enjoyed from 05-07

I don't hate Les Miles....

I just can't stand how Alabama has become a dynasty again at his expense. The last two games were great opportunities to quelch their bullshite, but they were both squandered in foolish fashion and now it's a point of no return.
