I agree.

Coentrao looked good yesterday, I´m sure he´s worried about ending up at a good club.

Interesting. He didn't fit well at RM this past season did he?

Towards the end he played more. I'm confused by United's transfer strategy here to be honest. They are unlikely to get Modric. They weren't going to get Fabregas. It's like they are targeting players they know they won't get.

Makes you really wonder what effect Moyes, or rather a lack of SAF, this has had.

It seems like flailing to find someone, anyone, who can play the DLP. Yet there are so many good options. They could go after Cabaye, or Marvin Martin, or Steven Defour or Ivan Rakitic, among many other players. Maybe they need a star signing as a sign of intent or something. They would do fine to get Felliani too. They just need a midfielder.

Except they are trying to get better.

they need a replacement for Paul Scholes, not an easy thing to do. Modric or Fabregas would be a great start.

Rooney should fully commit to learning the position. He's not playing infront of RvP right now, and he's far too talented to leave on the bench.

Klopp tried to get Kagawa back but was denied. Surprise surprise.

I think the effect has been felt for sure. It also has something to do with David Gill leaving as well, in my opinion.

Thank you, Randy. Do not want any of those.

Not a chance. SAF and his staff rated Kagawa very highly, I can only assume Moyes' group does the same.

I recall a quote from SAF saying that Kagawa has the raw talent necessary to be "the best" player in the EPL. Now, I doubt he ever reaches that status, but that's damn high praise.

Have you guys seen any of the players I mentioned? All are international quality. Defour was heavily linked with Man U before he broke his foot. Rakitic is an underrated player who has good long range passing. Martin has a great final ball and Cabaye is a good B2B player. They aren't on Fabregas or Modric level yet, but even both those players have struggled in La Liga where their technical skills give them no advantage in particular.

Of all those, I think Cabaye would help them the most.... possibly Rakitic.

I think Defour has flattened out in the past 3-4 years even though I know he has been injured... and isn't Martin more of an AM.

I think the most realistic is Fellaini...

Ander Herrera is someone I would look at if I was them, too...

Martin can play deeper and on the right. He's small but he has a good final ball on him.

Defour was supposed to be the next big Belgian to break out. I still think he has a lot of talent. Needs to refine his game.

I remember that transfer a couple of years ago thinking he could be had for around £15... He was on Bayerns radar too... Then you guys popped up and doled out that...
